Comics#27

Two years after the Transformers left Earth (see GI Joe vs. the Transformers Volume #1), the Joes are leading an attack on a Cobra weapons ring. Scarlett, Beach Head and Stalker interrupt a weapons transfer lead by the Dreadnoks, Buzzer, Ripper, and Torch. Once the fight starts Scarlett, Beach Head and Stalker are able to capture the Dreadnoks, Spirit and Jinx capture a truck with the goods, Roadblock, Gung-Ho and Bazooka using shield technology fight against a tank/car, they are supported by Duke and Snake-Eyes who use their SNAKE's (SNAKE's are Transformer size robots that any individual human can control) to defeat the tank/car.
In Portugal, Cobra Commander and Destro are having a meeting. The Commander explains to Destro that he has discovered that scientists in Boston have used Cybertronian computer technology to create a wormhole gateway between Earth and Cybertron that connects to the computer Teletran 3, but currently only data is able to go through the wormhole. Also, he controls Starscream one of the few Transformers that remained on Earth. Cobra Commander's grand plan is expand this wormhole technology so that he can have an instant delivery system on anywhere Earth. His armies could attack anywhere at anytime without the need for supply lines or long travel times. All he needs is Destro's financial support.
Destro agrees to the plan but with two conditions; one is Destro is going along on the venture and the second is Cobra Commander has to personally go, also. Destro then gives a command to his assistant Wilson for them to begin wrapping up. Wilson immediately walks out of the house, jumps off a cliff and rides away on a jet ski. Wilson is Chuckles, a GI Joe undercover agent, who makes his report on Cobra Commander's plan.
On the Shockwave controlled Cybertron, resistance fighters Optimus Prime, Ironhide and Wheeljack are stealing energon, which is a Transformer's power source, with Shockwave and several of his lieutenants on their tale. The Autobots are successful in escaping down a tunnel with energon.
The Joes are assaulting the Boston computer facility. Starscream, Cobra Commander, Dr. Mindbender, Destro, Baroness, Zartan, Storm Shadow, Tomax and Xamot are all inside the main room near the computers core. As the Joes charge the room their gun fire sets off the core, causing a reaction that transports everyone in the room to Cybertron. The after effect on Cybertron is that several Transformers, both Autobot and Decepticon, have been grabbed by the wormhole and sent to Earth.
As the Joes and Cobra's are figuring out what happen, Shockwave and several Decepticons show up to try to destroy them, but before they can do that Autobots Perceptor and Ultra Magnus bust through a wall and set up a force field that protects the humans, Starscream is subdued by Perceptor and the computer Teletran 3 is also inside the force field.
The temporal disturbance that the wormhole accident created has very severe consequences for Earth. Basically, the computer Teletran 3 sent the Transformers back to Earth, but all at different time periods. This displacement is severe because it will create a feedback that will wash the entire Earth with flames, destroying everything and everyone. In order to save the Earth, Cobra and the Joes have to join forces and be sent back in time to retrieve the Transformers. Four groups of Transformers were sent to four different time periods, so four groups of Cobras and Joes volunteer to go to those time periods to retrieve the Transformers.
An additional complication is that the Transformers were sent through a camouflage program so they match the time period. Perceptor is able to fashion a tracking device to help them find the hidden Transformers, and a disruption unit is sent with them that allows the Transformers and humans to be sent back to Cybertron.
The first group is Snake-Eyes, Lady Jaye, Zartan and Storm Shadow. They go back to the 1970's in the Oakland /San Francisco area. After disguising themselves, they find the first Transformer, Autobot Jazz, who's vehicle mode is a white Cadillac. Using Jazz they drive to the next Transformer, which is Bumblebee, who is in vehicle mode as a Datsun. Releasing Bumblebee, they begin the search for the next one. They find Hot Rod, but he is in the middle of San Francisco, they can't just let him transform in the middle of the city, so Lady Jaye in Jazz with Bumblebee following leads the car and its human driver on a chase out of the city towards the fourth Transformer.
The chase ends in an airport hanger where several cops are loading a plane. The plane is actually Sweeps in his vehicle mode. As the cops, Joes and Cobras square off Lady Jaye initiates the disruption unit and all four Joes and Cobras and the four Transformers are sent back to Cybertron.
In 1930's Chicago, Roadblock, Beach Head, Baroness and a Viper appear in the middle of a street just as two cars chasing each other with guns firing headed directly at them.

In order to save the Earth, Beach Head, Roadblock, Baroness and a Viper have been sent back in time from Cybertron to retrieve six displaced Transformers. These Transformers are trapped in appropriate time frame vehicle modes for Chicago, 1937.
On Cybertron, Perceptor and Ultra Magnus have created a force field around Teletran 3, Starscream, the Joes and Cobras. Outside of the force field waits the Decepticon army ready to destroy them and take over Teletran 3 and to let Earth be destroyed. The force field has 6 hours left until it runs out of energy.
Back on Earth, the team, having just avoided a car chase, tries to figure out a plan. Using a tracking device supplied by Perceptor they begin looking for the first Transformer.
The first Transformer they come upon is a blue and red truck, Optimus Prime. Beach Head knocks out the guys standing around the truck and they release Prime. They then gain information that a crime boss had discovered the "vehicles" and has taken them to his secure parking garage. In order to gain access, the Baroness will have to get close to Tommy Fingers, a Chicago gang leader. He has the keys. The Baroness, dressed in a very beautiful dress, seduces and drugs Tommy easily gaining the keys to the parking garage. The team and Prime all enter the garage.
In the garage are only four of the five missing Transformers. Roadblock was able to gain some information about the sixth and final Transformer. It's a truck and it is filled with dynamite. Unsure, if the locked Transformers are Autobot or Decepticon, the team can't decide to activate them or not. Hearing the conversation and realizing what happen to them, the Decepticons transform and attack. Optimus Prime recognizes them as Stunticons; Drag Strip, Breakdown, Dead End and Wildrider. Prime transforms and a car chase ensues. Prime is leading the four Stunticons to the fifth.
The Joes keep the Stunticons at bay as they arrive at the truck with the dynamite. Feeling that the dynamite might damage the Transformer Prime suggests unloading it first. The Baroness, in hurry to get back to Cybertron, just explodes the dynamite. She explains "They're robots from another planet. I've seen them take a sidewinder missile point blank. A little dynamite's not going to hurt them."
Now that all of the Transformers are together the Baroness uses the disruption unit to send them all back to Cybertron.
In another time and another place, Barbeque, Spirit, Tomax, Xamot and Dr. Mindbender appear in a totally devastated Earth where they see the Transformer Demolisher walking around.

On Cybertron, Ultra Magnus has switched to reserve power in order to keep the force field that is protecting the Joes, Cobras, Autobots and the computer Teletran 3 from a huge Decepticon army. The Decepticons, lead by Shockwave, want to take control of the wormhole that has brought the Joes and Cobras to Cybertron and has sent them Transformers into Earth's future and the past. This connection is also about to destroy the Earth.
In order to save Earth, Barbeque, Spirit, Tomax, Xamot and Dr. Mindbender have been sent from Cybertron to retrieve one displaced Transformer. He is trapped in a Decepticon controlled Earth, approximately 20 years in the future.
In those 20 years, the Decepticons have ravaged Earth for its resources, enslaved humans and routinely exterminated them. As the team figures out where they are at, an attack by Decepticons happens and coming to their rescue is Ripper, Buzzer and Torch. They look quite a bit different with many robotic attachments and repairs but they are still riding motorcycles. The Dreadnoks, surprised to see people alive that they saw die 15 years ago, explain more about the history of Earth, how one Autobot remains to fight the Decepticons and they lead them to their leader. Duke, legless in a wheelchair with many life staining attachments, is their leader. Spirit explains to Duke about coming from Cybertron and how they are looking for one Transformer.
Duke tries to recruit them to the current fight, but they have to refuse, using the reasoning that this world will disappear when they return the Transformer back to Cybertron and close the wormhole.
They are dismissed, Torch approaches them saying he will help them by taking them to the last remaining Autobot warrior. This Autobot has become there main warrior in the resistance fight against the Decepticons. On the journey to find him, they fight against the Insecticons, where Tomax & Xamot join arms together to form a mighty laser cannon that kills the Insecticons, as they continue through a forest they are surrounded by Ravage and several other Decepticons. And to their rescue comes Ratchet. The Autobot medical Transformer who had made an oath not to fight has been forced to become a fierce warrior in order to help save humans. When the team explains that they need to take him back, he refuses to go right away. Ratchet makes a deal with the Joes and Cobras, they help him rescue a group of human slaves and he will go.
A mission is launched. Ratchet takes out the Decepticon guards, Dr. Mindbender hotwires a gate, the Joes round up the slaves and Tomax and Xamot use their cannon to clear an escape route. After the successful mission, Ratchet changes his mind and refuses to go. Barbeque understanding the need to get back to Cybertron says "With all due respect Ratchet. We ain't askin, anymore." And he activates the disruption unit that sends them all back to Cybertron.
Immediately, Ratchet is blasted by Shockwave, almost killing him. The force field on Cybertron has fallen Ultra Magnus has been injured and Perceptor captured. Most of the rest of Joes and Autobots were able to escape. But Barbeque, Spirit, Dr. Mindbender, Tomax and Xamot are returned right in the middle of the Decepticons. Tomax and Xamot join hands to fire there cannon but Shockwave kills Xamot before they can fire. And the rest of the team is captured.
One group of Joes and Cobras remain in the time stream. Shockwave closes the return window but still allows the wormhole to stay open, in effect allowing the Earth and all humans to be burned and destroyed.

In the tunnels of Cybertron, Joes; Snake-Eyes, Stalker, Cover Girl, Roadblock, Beach Head and Lady Jaye and Cobras Destro and Storm Shadow have escaped as the force field that was protecting them from the Decepticons collapsed. Shockwave has captured the computer Teletran 3, which is keeping a wormhole open between Cybertron and Earth and is about to destroy humankind. In order to save the world, the Joes and Cobras have gone to four different time periods to retrieve trapped Transformers that were sent to Earth. There is one group left to return. Shockwave has closed the return gate, but left the wormhole still open with the intention of letting it destroy the Earth.
Storm Shadow witnesses a way to unlock the gate. And now he explains to all of them how they can save the last group and the world. Beach Head's comes up with a plan, which is for Lady Jaye and Roadblock, in their underwear wearing no metal, to sneak back into the Teletran 3 computer area undetected, then using Storm Shadow's information reopen the gate.
After sneaking into the computer area, Roadblock steals a Decepticon gun and fires as a distraction. Lady Jaye successfully makes her way to the computer as the distraction works. Using her small hands, she unlocks the gate. Immediately as the gate is open, Dusty, Gung-Ho, Shipwreck and a Viper return, as well as all of the Dinobots lead by Grimlock.
The very powerful Dinobots unleash their wrath on the Decepticons destroying many of them and damaging Shockwave. In a very short time, the Dinobots have turned the tide of the war on Cybertron.
The next day, the Autobots have come out of hiding as well as all of the Joes and Cobras. The Autobots and Joes make a deal that the wormhole gate will be completely destroyed on both planets, forever closing the wormhole. This all happens to Cobra Commander's dismay, especially since he lost his control of Starscream. But he is forced to go along with it. The one thing he does before leaving Cybertron is activate Starscream.
On the other side of Cybertron, Starscream has entered Shockwave's headquarters when a message from Cobra Commander plays saying that Starscream is traitor and that the 45 pounds of plastic explosives contained in his housing will show how much of a traitor he truly is. The entire top of the building explodes.
Three months later back on Earth, Dr. Mindbender is in prison and two NSA officers have come to release him. They take him on a plane to a secret location in the mountains where he realizes that the officers aren't really NSA and that he is going somewhere very, very weird.
As he turns around he sees Cobra-La's Pythona, Nemesis Enforcer and several Royal Guards. Pythona says to Dr. Mindbender "You're here to open the dimensional doorway so that Earth and Cybertron will crumble before the power of Unicron and the Kingdom of Cobra-La."
